Perth Town Hall in Watercolor
Perth Town Hall 80 Gore Street East | Built in 1863-1864 to serve the growing needs of the Town of Perth. Designed by Architect John Power, and built by Alexander Kippen.
It not only provided offices and council chambers for municipal administration back then but also space for a market, a concert hall, a fire hall, a police station and a post office. The clock was installed in the tower in 1874. Over the years its interior has been substantially altered but the exterior is remarkably intact.
Designated a national historic site in 1984.
If your a true history buff and love old architecture this would make an excellent addition to your collection – a bright, vivid, watercolor piece of Perth Town Hall.
