What was I thinking when I painted this blue abstract I entitled “Benthic”?  I was wanting to encompass the sea.  As I scuba diver it is a real honour to be swimming and watching the oceanic animals in their natural environment.  I wanted to try to encapsulate their home, environment and life in a watercolor painting.  This is how Benthic came to be.  If you look at this abstract you can see many things.  Octopus, parrotfish, turtles, peppermint shrimp, peacock flounder, stingray and the list goes on!  Please enjoy!  Thank you for checking out my painting!  I hope you love it as I do!
